Planning an Inflatable Rental in a Public Park?

Park events require more coordination than backyard parties. Permits, insurance documentation, vehicle access, and setup windows must all be confirmed before booking.

Minimum Event Size
Park rentals must meet minimum order requirements due to travel, equipment transport, and park access logistics.

Custom Event Quotes
Each park event is quoted individually based on location, delivery timing, and equipment needs.

Strict Delivery Windows
Many parks limit vehicle access and require setup during specific delivery windows.

Permit & Insurance Approval
Most municipalities require a park permit and certificate of insurance before inflatables are approved.

Park rentals are best suited for community celebrations, company picnics, school gatherings, and organized public events where permits and event planning are already in place.

Park Rental Process & Compliance Requirements

Park Bouncy Castle Rental Process & Compliance Steps

1. Confirm Park Permit & Power Access

Contact your park office or governing authority at least 14 business days in advance to confirm permit requirements and approved setup location. A dedicated 120V power outlet must be within 100 feet of the inflatable setup area. Extension cords cannot cross pedestrian pathways. If power exceeds 100 feet, a generator rental supplied by Castle Kid will be required.

2. Certificate of Insurance (COI) Documentation

Many public parks require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming the municipality or property owner as additionally insured. As the TSSA-licensed operator, we request this document directly from our insurance provider. Exact wording and event details must be provided prior to booking. Processing time is required.

3. TSSA-Licensed Inflatable Requirement

Under Ontario law, any bouncy castle or inflatable used outside of private residential property must be TSSA-licensed and compliant. This applies to public parks, school fields, church properties, and corporate venues. Some events may require a designated attendant during operation.

4. Delivery Scheduling & Park Access Conditions

Park bouncy castle rentals require a 1–2 hour delivery window and a 1–2 hour pickup window to coordinate park access and event timing. Clear access for truck and trailer is mandatory. Equipment cannot be transported across stairs, barriers, or restricted pathways.

Important Park Delivery Requirements

A minimum order of $600.00 is required for all park deliveries.

Additional administration, permit coordination, staffing, power access, or delivery fees may apply depending on the municipality and setup location.
