Water Slide Setup Requirements
Before reserving your Purple Crush inflatable water slide rental, please review the important setup requirements to ensure your backyard space is suitable for safe installation.
Minimum Gate & Access Path
A minimum 42-inch gate opening is required for delivery. Our team must be able to safely move the inflatable from the truck to the setup location using a large equipment dolly.
Clear Pathway Required
Inflatables are heavy and must be transported safely using our delivery dolly. We require a clear pathway at least 48 inches wide with no tight turns or obstacles. Unfortunately we are unable to lift equipment up or down stairs or over fences.
Water Source Required
The water slide connects to your garden hose. Please ensure your hose can reach the setup area so our team can connect the misting system during installation.
Drainage Area Required
The splash pool fills with water during use. When the inflatable is deflated, the pool will release its water, so the setup area must allow for proper drainage.
Power Requirements
The blower requires a dedicated electrical outlet within 75 feet. Our team will provide the proper heavy-duty extension cord during setup.

Yes. The Purple Crush water slide uses a pool landing at the bottom. The pool area must be filled with water before use. As riders slide down, they splash into the pool which keeps the slide cool and provides a safe landing.
What happens to the water when the inflatable is turned off?
When the inflatable blower is turned off the unit will deflate to the ground and the water inside the pool will drain out. For this reason the water slide must be set up in an area with good drainage.
What type of yard surface is required?
A clean grassy area with proper drainage is best for inflatable water slide rentals. The setup location must be free of rocks, sand, mud, or debris to protect the inflatable and ensure safe use.
How long does setup take?
Water slide setup typically takes about 45 minutes. Our team inflates the slide, connects the blower, and sets up the water misting system so everything is ready for your event.
Do I need to provide a hose and electricity?
Yes. Customers must provide a working garden hose that reaches the setup location. We will connect the hose to the misting system over the slide. Customers must also ensure their backyard electrical outlet is working prior to delivery.
How far can the power cord run?
Castle Kid will provide the proper extension cord for the inflatable blower. The outlet must be within 75 feet of the setup location. If power is farther away, a generator may be required.
